Job description

Responsible for assisting with patient care in the Emergency Services department.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure supplies in the Emergency Services department are properly stocked.
  • Administer CPR, check blood pressure, temperature, perform phlebotomy, and electrocardiograms as needed.
  • Maintain the emergency rooms in a neat and orderly condition at all times.
  • Adjust crutches for patients as necessary.
  • Obtain food orders from the kitchen.
  • Transport discharged patients via wheelchair to their vehicles.
  • Deliver specimens as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications and Specifications

Vocational/technical training and more than six months of job-related experience or equivalent are required. A Nursing Assistant Certificate is also required.
