We’re looking for a dedicated Careline Manager to lead our 24/7 Careline Service in London. This role involves managing an emergency call-handling service supporting diverse communities around the clock.
Your Role:
- Lead and Inspire: Manage a team of Deputy Careline Managers and Duty Careline Officers, ensuring motivation, training, and high standards of care.
- Drive Excellence: Oversee a 24/7 alarm monitoring and response service, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and service user needs.
- Innovate and Improve: Develop strategies to enhance service delivery, share best practices, and implement innovative solutions.
- Manage Resources: Handle budgets, rotas, and resources efficiently, ensuring adherence to European Working Time Directives.
- Build Partnerships: Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver seamless services and promote the Careline Service across the borough.
- Ensure Safety: Act as Lead Officer for Adult Safeguarding, ensuring policies and procedures protect vulnerable adults.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience managing a 24/7 service, ideally within emergency response, healthcare, or social care sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams and delivering customer-focused services.
- Knowledge of Community Alarm monitoring systems and proficiency in IT packages like Word and Excel.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills for analyzing complex information and implementing solutions.
- A commitment to equality and inclusivity, with understanding of equalities issues.
- Flexibility to participate in an on-call rota, including out-of-hours, nights, and weekends.
- Essential: A full UK manual driving license.

Shifts:
This role is primarily Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with flexibility for out-of-hours shifts, nights, and weekends to support the 24/7 rota.
