Mitie Security Ltd in Derby on a Rolls-Royce site is seeking an Emergency Response Security Officer to join our team. The role combines emergency response and security duties, requiring 12-hour shifts and averaging 56 hours per week.

You will respond to alarms, attend incidents, provide first aid, and perform routine safety checks across the site. A valid SIA licence and full UK driving licence are required, with ongoing training opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Frontline SIA licence is required.
• Full UK manual driving licence.

• First aid trained/experience.

Responsabilités

• Respond to fire alarms and emergency incidents.
• Attend security incidents and medical emergencies.
• Provide first aid and emergency care until services arrive.
• Carry out routine checks and testing of fire safety and security systems.
• Inspect fire doors, alarms, sprinklers and other safety equipment.
• Test and record site safety systems per procedures.
• Carry out daily checks on emergency response vehicles and equipment.

Pay Rate: £13.49 per hour

Mitie Security is looking for Emergency Response Security Officers to join our team at the Rolls-Royce site in Derby.

This is a combined role involving both emergency response and security duties. You must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights and weekends, averaging 56 hours per week.

Please do not apply if you cannot work both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to fire alarms and emergency incidents.
• Attend security incidents and medical emergencies.
• Provide first aid and emergency care until emergency services arrive.
• Carry out routine checks and testing of fire safety and security systems.
• Complete inspections of fire doors, alarms, sprinklers and other safety equipment.
• Test and record site safety systems in line with procedures.
• Carry out daily checks on emergency response vehicles and equipment.
• Report faults, defects or safety concerns.
• Support and promote high standards of security and customer service across the site.

Requirements

• Valid Frontline SIA Licence.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Ability to pass security screening and employment history checks.
• Professional, reliable and courteous approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Smart appearance and high personal standards.
• Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development.
