About the role:
- You will be working as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner / Paramedic and will be responsible for:
- Autonomously assess, manage, and treat patients
- Provide treatment to patients with a range of illnesses and injuries
- Prescribe medication as an independent non-medical prescriber or using PGDs
- Assess and treat patients aged 2 and above
- Communicate highly complex and sensitive information to patients, carers, and other staff
- Lead, motivate, and support team members in the facilitation of professional and clinical development
Who we’re looking for:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin or Paramedic with HCPC registration—no restrictions
- Full eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Evidence of continuing professional education and training at Masters level or completed level 7 module in advanced practice
- At least 2 years UK experience in a similar setting (emergency care, autonomously within a GP surgery)
- Independent Prescriber (or on a pathway to complete)
- Experience caring for patients aged 2 and above
- Paediatric Nurse Practitioner qualification desirable
- Competent in physical examination of patients of all ages
- Ability to prioritise workload
