Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. This Band 5 role offers full- and part-time options, 37.5 hours weekly (part-time pro-rated).

You will work in a major trauma centre with multidisciplinary teams, delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment and supporting professional development through structured programmes.

Qualifikationen

• NMC registered nurse with recent Emergency, Acute, Urgent Care or equivalent fast-paced clinical experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead a clinical care team within the ED.
• Ensure care delivery aligns with Trust policies and professional standards.
• Supervise staff including healthcare assistants and students.
• Mentor/assess learners and support ongoing education.
• Coordinate patient flow and discharge planning where applicable.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times.
