Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Emergency Nurse / Care Practitioner to join a prominent healthcare organisation specialising in occupational health services, serving various industries, including aviation, construction, engineering, manufacturing, retail, utilities, and emergency services.

As an Emergency Nurse / Care Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in managing on-site emergency response for trauma and medical emergencies.

The shift will include days, nights, and weekends, with an enhanced rate of pay for nights and weekends. This full-time role offers a salary of £48,400 and benefits.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Walk-in service for treating injuries and illnesses.
  2. Health surveillance and occupational health assessments.
  3. Drug and alcohol screening.
  4. Cannulation as needed.
  5. Deliver health promotion initiatives.
  6. Perform wound care and resuscitation.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience as an Emergency Care Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Emergency Nurse, A&E Nurse, Emergency Room Nurse, or in a similar role.
  • Experience in Accident & Emergency (A&E) care.
  • NMC Registered.
  • Immediate or Advanced Life Support Qualification.
  • Valid UK Manual Driving License.
