Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Emergency Nurse / Care Practitioner to join a prominent healthcare organisation specialising in occupational health services, serving various industries, including aviation, construction, engineering, manufacturing, retail, utilities, and emergency services.

As an Emergency Nurse / Care Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in managing on-site emergency response for trauma and medical emergencies.

The shift will include days, nights, and weekends, with an enhanced rate of pay for nights and weekends. This full-time role offers a salary of £48,400 and benefits.

You will be responsible for:

• Walk-in service for treating injuries and illnesses.
• Health surveillance and occupational health assessments.
• Drug and alcohol screening.
• Cannulation as needed.
• Delivering health promotion initiatives.
• Performing wound care and resuscitation.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience as an Emergency Care Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Emergency Nurse, A&E Nurse, Emergency Room Nurse, or similar role.
• Experience in Accident & Emergency (A&E) care.
• NMC Registered.
• Immediate or Advanced Life Support Qualification.
• Valid UK Manual Driving License.
