Job summary

The Yorkshire Nanny Company seeks an experienced emergency nanny to start immediately, for at least 3 months, to care for two children aged 2 years and 6 months. The role is largely sole charge, with some potential shared care with dad or grandparents. A high level of baby experience and initiative is essential.

Hours are Mon-Fri 9am–5pm or 8am–6pm, with Saturday availability appreciated. Driver not essential but preferred. Upper Dunsforth, Boroughbridge area, starts ASAP.

Qualifications

• Experience with babies and toddlers required.
• Ability to use initiative and step straight into the family routine.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for two children (2 years and 6 months).
• Follow the family routine and hospital/ recovery plans as advised.
• Occasional shared care with dad or grandparents as needed.
• Perform all usual nanny duties to support the family.

This role is to help care for the children whilst mum is in hospital/recovering from injury. It will mainly be sole charge but there may be some shared care with dad or grandparents at times.

All usual daily duties required – as much help as possible for dad.

This role would suit an experienced, capable nanny who is able to step straight in to the family and use their initiative to know what needs doing.

A good level of baby experience is required.
