We are looking for a Patient Pathway Coordinator to help deliver an efficient, high-quality medical records service at the Sir Robert Ogden Centre. The role involves providing administration for outpatient bookings and patient pathway management, prioritising workload to meet waiting time standards, and accurately recording information on systems to maintain patient appointment data.

Main duties of the job

The Patient Pathway Team, located in the Long Term and Unscheduled Care Directorate, works closely with management to ensure effective outpatient services. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing reception cover
  • Managing appointments and referrals, supporting clinical triage, and booking outpatient appointments
  • Monitoring clinic utilisation and waiting lists
  • Communicating with patients via letter and phone
  • Collaborating with clinicians, nurses, managers, and admin teams
