Job summary

Qualifications

• NMC/HCPC registration.
• MSc in Education.
• Significant experience in a secondary care adult emergency department at band 7+.
• Recognised education qualification - PGCERT or equivalent.
• ALS, APLS or ETC instructor.
• Paediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee professional development across all staff groups and ensure mandatory training.
• Develop and evaluate bespoke education programmes for ED/UTC staff.
• Lead and support Clinical Practice Facilitators and contribute to governance, audit and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with ED consultants, senior leadership and HEIs to align training with priorities.
