Job description

The Emergency Department has a 34.1hrs part time,12-month fixed term Band 3 post available. Applicants must have 2 Years HCSW experience in an acute area.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undergoing training specific to the Emergency Department. As a valued member of the team the EDA works closely with both nursing and medical staff within the department. Applicants should be able to work in a busy sometimes stressful environment and be able to use their initiative. Computer skills would be helpful.

We are a busy department and see the full spectrum of patients with illness and injury, covering all ages; approximately 20% being paediatric. We prioritise teaching; have a strong team ethos and a drive for continued improvement.
