Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineering Manager – EMEIA to lead engineering design, pricing, and delivery across multiple countries. You will guide the development of innovative, cost‑effective warehouse and automation solutions and support new business opportunities with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires extensive experience in industrial engineering, WMS, and warehouse automation, plus strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain, business or related field.
• Master's degree is desirable.
• 15+ years in industrial engineering, warehouse design, or contract logistics.
• Experience in 3PL, retail distribution, manufacturing, ecommerce or consumer goods.
• Proven ability to design warehouse layouts and workflows.
• Experience developing engineered labour standards and labour models.
• Experience with AutoCAD and WMS.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent presentation and customer‑facing communication skills.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Visio, SQL, SmartSheet and Access skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design for strategic Contract Logistics opportunities across EMEIA.
• Analyse customer data to develop innovative and commercially competitive solutions.
• Design warehouse layouts, workflows, and material handling solutions.
• Produce conceptual layouts, labour models, and storage strategies.
• Develop resource models and operational costing for pricing submissions.
• Prepare technical content for proposals, presentations, and solution documentation.
• Support commercial teams during customer presentations and solution reviews.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with customer requirements and Crane standards.
• Lead engineering workstreams for new customer implementations.
• Develop implementation plans, timelines, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple countries.
• Coach and mentor engineering professionals.
• Promote collaboration across Commercial, Operations, IT and Finance.
