The Role

Operating under the HR Talent Acquisition organisation, the Talent Attraction, Recruitment Marketing & Diversity team is responsible for creating effective attraction and sourcing strategies inclusive of diversity partnerships, marketing, branding, job boards and technology. Working closely with the Head of Talent Attraction and Talent Acquisition recruiters, your role as University Relations Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, planning, and executing a university marketing and events strategy across EMEA.

Key Accountabilities

What you'll be doing:

University Strategy

  • Lead on strategy, planning and delivery of internal and external Junior Talent events and on-campus marketing initiatives ensuring brand consistency across all channels, including and in particular firmwide events
  • Develop and maintain relationships with careers services and university contacts
  • Collaborate with EMEA campus recruiters and business stakeholders to ensure effective communication of campus recruitment activity. This includes preparation and presentation of briefing materials, process documents and guidelines for events and marketing activities
  • Track and monitor event and sponsorship spend
  • Lead the annual university review - a data set to measure success of target school activity
  • Facilitate focus groups with intern and graduate population to gather student data on perceptions and trends
  • Will be required to present and represent Bank of America at various events whether virtual or in person

Other Marketing and Attraction may include:

  • Owning and maintaining process documentation of the team and introducing, mentoring new joiners
  • Manage marketing collateral preparation and proofing to ensure consistent messaging and accuracy of materials distributed on campus
  • Liaise with external vendor to manage inventory of marketing materials
  • Liaise with internal partners such as corporate communications, marketing, legal and compliance to gain required approval for materials where necessary
  • Communicate marketing updates, trends and successes with stakeholders
  • Support the planning and delivery of pre-university and first year pipeline programmes and other diversity events and initiatives that take place throughout the year
  • Develop relationships with external organizations and interbank groups
  • Collaborating with the Diversity Programmes Team on Apprentice marketing campaign
  • May be involved in programme organisation support, e.g. Spring Insight Week or Future Prospects

Skills & Experience

You'll need to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of the graduate landscape, campus recruitment process and campus marketing needs
  • An ability to establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and partners, including the ability to liaise with and influence at all levels to agree a change of direction or new process
  • The ability to work as a team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, flexible and collaborative work environment
  • Demonstrated business acumen and experience in financial or professional services
  • Excellent project management, communication and presentation skills
  • Proven commitment to excellent client service
  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills, and experience of presenting to senior clients/stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a varied work
