Job summary

Transaction Network Services is seeking a Supervisor to lead a regional team of network engineers in Sheffield. You will balance line management with hands-on router configuration, onboarding testing, troubleshooting and proactive support across the global network.

The role requires leadership, strong networking knowledge, and the ability to work across time zones with a follow-the-sun support model. Some out-of-hours work is expected.

Qualifications

• Direct engagement with customers and vendors to deliver solutions.
• Experience with core networking protocols and cloud services.
• Experience leading a technical delivery team and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and contribute as an individual to meet team demands.
• Manage capacity planning and optimize resource allocation across the team.
• Develop metrics to drive efficiency and reduce errors and costs.
• Lead, mentor and coach engineers with SMART development plans.
• Collaborate across TNS to deliver global objectives.
• Own technical implementation, testing, and transition to operations.
• Implement changes per Global Change policy and provide 3rd line support.
• Create and maintain procedures and documentation; train for BAU.
