Job summary

Malvern Panalytical is seeking an experienced EMEA HSE Manager to lead safety, health and environment across the region. You will drive the SHE strategy, ensure ISO compliance, and align with the global director to enable business objectives through a proactive safety culture.

Based in Malvern with hybrid working, you will lead internal audits, manage regional stakeholders, and report KPIs while fostering continuous improvement across multi-site operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on SHE experience in medium to high-risk organisations.
• Fluent English; additional languages are advantageous in an international setting.
• RPS qualification is a plus for operations.

About The Role

As the key technical expert for the EMEA region at Malvern Panalytical, you'll play a pivotal leadership role, guiding stakeholders across the business develop and improve our management systems. Reporting directly to our Global Health, Safety and Environment Director, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering operational excellence and enabling our business objectives through a proactive, people-first safety culture.

This is more than a compliance role, it’s an opportunity to influence strategic outcomes, foster continuous improvement, and collaborate across borders in a fast-evolving, purpose-led environment.

You’ll be working across key EMEA locations alongside a highly committed and collaborative global SHE team.

What you will bring to the role

• Drive SHE Strategy Delivery: Collaborate with local teams to implement the SHE strategic vision, aligning with our values and supporting overall business goals.
• Lead ISO Compliance & Management Systems: Maintain existing ISO certifications and ensure consistent application of robust management systems where certification is not yet in place.
• Own Internal Auditing: Design and deliver a comprehensive internal audit programme in line with global standards, working closely with the Quality team.
• Lead SHE Projects & Initiatives: Initiate and manage impactful SHE-related projects, fostering collaboration across internal teams to enhance service delivery.
• Engage Stakeholders & Represent SHE Regionally: Act as the primary point of contact for regional SHE matters, building strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
• Monitor, Report & Improve Performance: Track SHE KPIs, manage supporting systems, and use performance data to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

About you

• A Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety or a related field, giving you the foundation to lead with confidence.
• At least 10 years of hands‑on experience in SHE within medium to high‑risk organisation
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong advantage in our international setting.
• A proven track record in shaping safety culture across complex, multi-site or global organisations you're a natural at leading change.
• Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) qualification is a plus, bringing valuable expertise to our operations.
