Job Description

Be the Financial Engine Behind a High-Growth Region

Hansen (ASX: HSN) is a global provider of software and services to the energy, water and communications industries. With our award-winning software suite, we help more than 600 customers in over 80 countries to create and deliver new products and services, engage with customers, and control and manage critical revenue management and customer support processes.

Traditionally Hansen is known for our billing and customer care solutions for utilities and energy companies; and for our BSS/OSS solutions for the communications industry. Yet today our solutions are far broader than this - from enabling the strategic trading of energy resources, to gaining real insights from the data tsunami that smart meters enable and the ability to quickly sell products through our Catalog-driven solutions. Put simply, our solutions are essential ingredients in our customers' commercial business model, providing them with the ability to create and deliver these essential services, charge for them, and establish and maintain lasting relationships with their end customers.

We're evolving fast-and as our largest and most complex region, EMEA is pivotal to our global ambitions. Following an internal promotion, we're now seeking an exceptional finance leader to join us in London and take on this high-impact, high-visibility role.

Why This Role Matters

As EMEA Regional Financial Controller, you'll be the financial anchor across 10+ countries, overseeing a multi-jurisdictional, multi-currency operation in our largest and fastest-growing market. The role requires strong operational and technical expertise, regional insight, and the ability to lead a high-performing, geographically dispersed finance team. The EMEA FC also acts as a key business partner to senior stakeholders and steps in for the EMEA Finance Director when required.

Your Impact

  • Leading a high-performing team of 11 finance professionals across borders
  • Driving financial integrity and operational scale in a high-growth environment
  • Providing strategic finance insights to senior leadership across the region
  • Shaping cash management, tax, and statutory compliance across EMEA
  • Supporting M&A, integrations, and finance systems transformation initiatives
  • Representing Finance in leadership forums when deputising for the EMEA Finance Director
What You Bring
  • ACA / CA / ACCA qualified with 8-12 years' PQE
  • A proven, hands-on finance leader with a demonstrable track record in financial reporting & control and business partnering.
  • Strong experience with statutory accounting, IFRS, internal controls, treasury and tax
  • Experience in the software or technology sector is a strong advantage
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, matrixed, cross-border organisation
  • Advanced user of Excel and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred); familiarity with Board, PowerBI a plus
