EMEA Program Manager--Operation Readiness Team, FinOps EMEA Operational Readiness Team

We are building up the Operation Readiness Team in Bratislava (BTS). The team manages the entire lifecycle of projects including TRD, APAR BRD, contract signoff, capacity planning, UAT/PVT, SOP design, project launch, and hyper-care before handing over to operational teams. The focus is on critical projects across all business channels including:

  • New Geo/Business Launches: Launching core Amazon businesses (Retail, Corporate, AWS, Logistics, etc.) in new countries.
  • Integrations & Migrations: Integrating acquired subsidiaries' systems into Amazon.
  • Compliance/Tax Projects: Implementing new tax regulations introduced by local authorities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Identifying the scope of FinOps in new launches.
  2. Validating business and system requirements from documentation.
  3. Identifying deviations/manual processes and ensuring alignment with global processes.
  4. Defining success criteria, reports, and metrics.
  5. Identifying test scenarios, performing UAT/PVT, and reporting status.
  6. Conducting FMEA to identify risks and working with teams to mitigate them.
  7. Training Ops teams on new processes.
  8. Analyzing and publishing key metrics during hyper-care.
  9. Addressing post-launch operational issues.
  10. Handover to Operations upon meeting success criteria.
Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong ownership.

Preferred Qualifications
