Job summary

Wellington Management Co invites a Director of EMEA Strategy to shape enterprise strategy, lead end-to-end product development, and partner with regional leaders and distribution partners. You will oversee governance materials, financial modeling, and market analysis to steer growth across asset classes including alternatives.

The role requires a strong track record in asset management and client engagement, with a collaborative, consensus-driven leadership style.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in asset management with product strategy and wealth solutions.
• Experience launching investment vehicles in EMEA and preparing governance materials.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive outcomes in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end product development across cross-functional teams from concept to launch.
• Lead strategic projects for senior Wellington leaders and build regional business cases.
• Present product proposals to Operating Committee with strategic rationale and financial impact.
• Develop financial models and business cases to evaluate viability and margins.
• Understand client needs, regulatory trends, and market movements across asset classes.
• Identify emerging wealth distribution models and platform innovations for future design.
• Collaborate with distribution, product and sales to uncover opportunities.
• Translate industry data into actionable strategic insights for decision makers.
