Job summary

Western Digital is seeking an experienced Payroll leader to manage and oversee payroll processes across the EMEA region from our Guildford office. The role requires deep knowledge of local labor laws, strong leadership of a payroll team, and the ability to collaborate with HR, finance and operations to deliver accurate, compliant payroll services.

You will drive continuous improvement in payroll processes, mentor team members, and manage vendor relationships while ensuring audits and projects

Qualifications

• 10+ years of payroll management experience across the EMEA region.
• Proven leadership of payroll professionals.
• Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
• Experience with Workday or ADP Celergo preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or HR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee payroll processes for all countries in the EMEA region.
• Ensure timely, accurate and compliant delivery of payroll across the EMEA region.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of local labor laws, regulations and best practices related to payroll and total rewards administration.
• Review and maintain payroll records and reports.
• Lead and mentor a team of payroll professionals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline payroll processes.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure payroll systems are optimized for efficiency.
• Assume primary responsibility for payroll related audits in the EMEA region.
• Assume primary responsibility for implementation of payroll related projects in the EMEA region.
