Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an OTC Derivatives Settlements Analyst to ensure smooth settlements for Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Swaps, Equity Derivatives and Commodities within the EMEA region. You will support a fast-paced, globally connected team and grow your market expertise.

You will handle confirmations, investigate post-settlement discrepancies, respond to client inquiries, and collaborate with Middle Offices and sister hubs to drive improvements and manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Ensures payments are settled accurately and client enquiries are handled promptly.
• Develops understanding of Credit Default Swaps, Interest Rate Swaps and related instruments.
• Maintains strong relationships with external clients and internal teams across hubs.
• Mitigates operational, financial and reputational risk.
• Participates in process improvement initiatives.
• Identifies and investigates root causes of errors and issues.
