Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in London is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join the EMEA Media & Communications Advisory team. You will assist senior bankers on strategic client engagements, perform valuation work, and support execution of M&A and capital markets transactions.

You will collaborate with Analysts, Associates and senior team members across product and industry teams, gaining exposure to clients and complex deals in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Prior investment banking or corporate finance experience, ideally in media/telecoms/communications.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues at all levels.
• Strong project management and organisational skills with multiple workstreams.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Highly motivated, adaptable and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed valuation analysis including DCF and comps.
• Support transaction execution, project management and client coverage.
• Conduct transaction structuring, merger and financial analysis.
• Prepare client presentations, memoranda and board materials.
• Collaborate with senior bankers and client management on transactions.
• Assist in development and coaching of junior team members.
