The team

The EMEA Learning & Development Lead is a key leadership role responsible for driving A&M’s EMEA learning and development strategy. The EMEA Lead will identify, build and oversee learning programs and initiatives that enable employees at all levels to continuously develop critical skills, knowledge, and capabilities required for success. This role will collaborate closely with the Corporate and Business Unit (BU) leadership teams as well as peers within A&M’s Global People Organization to ensure alignment of learning with strategic priorities and talent development needs.

The EMEA Lead will be a resourceful and engaging leader who creates a market competitive learning culture and has the capability to drive continuous talent development across EMEA.

How you will contribute:

  • L&D Strategy:
    • L&D Ecosystem: Develop and execute the EMEA’s learning and development ecosystem, roadmap, and operating model that aligns with the firm’s strategy and key skills development needs. Conduct assessments and identify emerging trends and best practices in L&D and incorporate them into the strategy to ensure continuous improvement.
    • Learning Culture: Lead the transformation of the EMEA’s learning culture by promoting a growth mindset, knowledge-sharing, innovation, and a continuous learning environment. Develop and implement initiatives that encourage employees to take ownership of their learning and development, such as self-directed learning programs, knowledge-sharing platforms, and communities of practice.
    • Leadership of Team: Provide leadership and guidance to the EMEA L&D team, ensuring consistency in program delivery and alignment with the firm’s goals. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices across regions.
    • Oversee EMEA L&D Budget: Develop and manage the EMEA L&D budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently to support the firm’s learning and development initiatives. Monitor expenses, track ROI, and make data-driven decisions to optimize the budget utilization.
  • Process / Learning Partners:
    • Employee Engagement: Provide a strategic vision to career paths and associate learning journeys that incentivize continuous learning and drive a culture of growth.
    • Customized Content Strategy: Develop a content strategy that incorporates these latest developments in AI and technology creation advancements to deliver personalized, engaging learning experiences that leverage both custom-developed and off-the-shelf content.
  • Learning Content Development and Management:
    • Content identification and development: Oversee the full lifecycle of content identification and development for learning programs spanning onboarding, leadership development, professional skills development, compliance, business development learning requirements, and solutions/industry training.
    • Provide directions to the EMEA L&D team to design specialized learning curricula, certification paths, and continuous learning journeys for key practice areas, solutions, and roles.
  • Learning Content Delivery:
    • Oversee and evaluate the training for efficiency, efficacy, cultural impact and financial sustainability.
    • Implement learning metrics, analytics, and measurement to assess program efficacy and business impact.
  • Learning Environment:
    • Learning Technology: Assist in building a world-class learning organization and stay updated with the latest developments in learning technology.
    • Learning Analytics: Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of the L&D programs and initiatives. Identify key metrics and develop reporting mechanisms to track progress and make data-driven decisions. Build data sources and capability to drive personalized marketing and engagement campaigns.
  • Shared Services:
    • Collaboration with HR and Business Unit Leaders: Partner with HR and Business Unit Leaders to align L&D initiatives with the firm’s overall talent strategy and business goals. Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and expertise on learning and development strategies, programs, and initiatives.
    • Marketing & Engagement: Partner closely with the BU-based people partners to understand and address talent development needs. Build out marketing and engagement strategies to promote the L&D programs and initiatives to employees. Develop creative and effective communication channels to increase awareness and participation.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in leading transformational learning and talent development initiatives, preferably for a global organization
  • Deep expertise in the latest learning strategies, technologies, methodologies, and best practices
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing learning teams, including instructors, developers, support
  • Exceptional communication skills to influence executive stakeholders and inspire learners
  • Track record of successfully executing large-scale, complex learning transformation initiatives
  • Expertise in learning analytics, measurement, and establishing the business impact of learning programs
  • Understanding of key consulting disciplines, methodologies, and skill requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in education, HR, or related field preferred
