Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist in London to own labelling development and regulatory compliance for EU markets. You will ensure products meet EU food and beverage legislation and coordinate with internal and external teams on approvals.

The role requires 3–5+ years in Regulatory Affairs within food/beverages, a science degree, and strong EU regulations knowledge. UK working rights are required; beverage sector experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years' Regulatory Affairs experience in food/beverages.
• Degree in a scientific or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of EU food and beverage legislation and labelling.
• Hands-on label development, artwork approval and compliance reviews.
• Experience with product or raw material registrations is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication with stakeholders across functions and international markets.
• Beverage industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead label development and compliance reviews for new products, flavour extensions and packaging changes.
• Review product labels and artwork for accuracy and EU regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate artwork approvals with internal teams and external partners.
• Monitor regulatory developments across EU markets and assess impact on products.
• Support product and raw material registrations and related regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with international teams to ensure consistency in labelling standards.
• Address technical product queries on allergens, sugars and vegan/vegetarian suitability.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and identify process improvements.
