Job description

This temporary role as a Head of Reporting & Accounting is ideal for a detail-focused professional with strong accounting and finance expertise. This role is key in Financial operations and requires understanding of multi-currency environments.

Description

  1. Prepare and submit timely and complete monthly and annual financial statements for management reporting purposes.
  2. Ensure that EMEA meets all regional reporting requirements with clear and insightful commentary on all material variances and trends.
  3. Responsible for the accounting records, ensuring these are maintained in line with IFRS and suitable for management reporting; resolving conflicts between statutory and management books when necessary.
  4. Oversee the statutory audit process and ensure timely filing within the deadlines stipulated by the Companies Act and group audit reporting requirements.
  5. Manage the EMEA balance sheet, ensuring accurate consolidation and conducting regular reviews of individual entity balances for focus and improvement areas.
  6. Ensure compliance with Global and Regional accounting policies, documenting and maintaining local procedures as needed.
  7. Deliver monthly, half-yearly, and annual analyses of EMEA costs within the existing matrix operating model.
