Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Associate in the EMEA Global Markets Sales Credit Risk Portfolio team to help oversee counterparty exposure, support daily operations, and contribute to risk management across markets.

You will collaborate with Sales & Trading, Credit Risk Management, and other groups, maintain data accuracy, help deliver MI reporting, and uphold strong controls in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, focused on Credit/Market Risk Management or Sales & Trading.

Responsibilities

• Support the global team in administering daily activities related to markets counterparty exposure.
• Manage workload, draft team procedures, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Adhere to established frameworks for exposure management, controls, and governance.
• Monitor and elevate material deviations from the framework, including limit breaches.
• Support sustainable refresh models to keep client data up-to-date for risk monitoring.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and support of MI reporting to senior heads.
• Support governance and escalation of client restriction monitoring.

As an Associate in the EMEA Global Markets Sales Credit Risk Portfolio team, you will support the global team in administering daily business activities, managing counterparty exposure, and ensuring deadlines are met. You'll be responsible for portfolio management, adhering to established frameworks, monitoring and escalating material deviations, and supporting MI reporting and client restriction controls. You'll interact regularly with multiple teams to achieve risk management goals and maintain a strong control mindset.

• Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Python, Alteryx, and similar applications.
