Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in London is seeking an Associate in the EMEA Global Markets Sales Credit Risk Portfolio to contribute to counterparty risk oversight and daily administration within a first-line defense role.

You will collaborate with Sales & Trading, Business Management, Credit Risk Management and other teams to deliver risk controls, portfolio management, and MI reporting while maintaining strong governance and deadlines in a dynamic market environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience in financial services, focused on Credit/M: Market Risk Management or Sales & Trading.
• Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Python, Alteryx, and similar applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Strong control mindset and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Results-driven, detail-oriented, and able to break down barriers and obstacles.
• Ability to influence diverse groups and individuals to deliver high-quality, timely results.

Responsibilities

• Support the global team in administering daily business activities related to markets counterparty exposure.
• Manage assigned workload, draft team procedures, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Adhere to established frameworks for exposure management, controls, and governance.
• Monitor and escape material deviations from the framework, including limit breaches and risk concentrations.
• Support sustainable refresh models to keep client data up-to-date for ongoing risk monitoring.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and support of MI reporting and updates to senior business heads and control forums.
• Support governance and escalation of client restriction control monitoring.
