Department: Global Business Services EMEA

Location: Brunel Way Segensworth (3 days office / 2 days work from home)

Working hours: Monday Friday 8:30‑4:30

Job summary: What to expect

As the EMEA Financial Accounting Manager in our Global Business Services team you will help maintain a secure & robust financial reporting framework through the markets it supports. You will also support the EMEA Finance Controller in driving strategic change alongside process policy and efficiency improvements on a path toward greater alignment of accounting and control processes under the GBS model. With your proactive approach and working with your finance partners you will identify continuous improvement opportunities through the Financial Reporting processes promoting best practice and drive accelerated close timeframes.

The role will manage oversee and be the main point of contact for the Accounting Financial Reporting and Audit (both internal and external) for several EMEA CSIs entities in the GBS and directly manage a team of 2-3 Accountants.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring accurate reporting and guidance around revenue recognition and sales & marketing incentives as well as internal transfer pricing.
  • Driving support to the FP&A function in building out legal entity budgets and forecasts and providing relevant data for the preparation of cashflow forecasts.
  • Maintaining a working relationship with internal and external audit to support and facilitate SOX quarterly reviews and year‑end audits and ensuring the documentation of financial processes are reviewed on an agreed periodic basis.
  • Maintaining working relationships with the TCC Transactional Services Manager, TCC Fixed Asset and Leasing Finance teams and the TCC Tax and Treasury team to ensure seamless performance of activities.
  • Leading a team of direct professional staff supporting them with technical reporting accounting and policy issues.

Travel

Some international travel may be expected in this role (5‑10%) mainly in Europe.

About you

You will have a can‑do attitude and be able to operate on a tactical level with a good understanding of strategy balancing today's needs of the organization with the longer‑term direction and enhancements of a global organization. You will have management experience and be able to lead, motivate and develop a professional team.

Experience & Education
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA) with 5 years post qualified experience.
  • IT proficient in MS Office and ERPs (including Excel, Word, Navision, Dynamics 365 and HFM).
  • Experience of working in a multi‑cultural international Finance Shared Service Centre role.
  • Will have managed a financial accounting and reporting team.
  • Broad knowledge of all finance areas including financial systems and applications.
