Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a highly motivated Associate for the EMEA Financial Institutions Group (FIG) to originate and execute M&A and capital markets mandates. You will work with the FIG team to deliver strategic adviser services to banks, insurers, asset managers and FinTech clients.

You will develop financial models, prepare client presentations from pitch to close, and collaborate across product teams to strengthen J.P. Morgan's franchise.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years of investment banking experience with financial institutions exposure.
• Proficient financial analysis and modelling skills.
• Excellent communication and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Cover the EMEA FIG market across banks, asset managers, insurers, FinTech sectors.
• Perform large and complex valuation and analytical exercises.
• Prepare presentation books and materials for M&A and capital markets transactions.
• Support due diligence, document prep, and negotiations with clients and advisers.
• Mentor junior colleagues and keep abreast of market and regulatory developments.
