Job summary

IPS is seeking a Director of Building Services (M&E) for the EMEA region, with responsibility for strategic direction, discipline leadership and project delivery from IPS offices in Birmingham or Dublin. The role requires extensive Pharma/BioPharma M&E design experience, strong leadership, and ability to drive compliant, high-quality outcomes across multiple markets.

The candidate will oversee QA/QC, support business development, and promote innovation aligned with IPS’ digital transformation

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing pharmaceutical/Biopharma facilities for cGMP production.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets and drive strategic goals.
• Strong collaboration with senior stakeholders and cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for Building Services discipline across EMEA.
• Oversee day-to-day execution of projects and resource planning.
• Lead QA/QC reviews, audits and technical standards compliance.
• Support business development with proposals and work-hour estimates.
• Drive innovation and alignment with IPS digital transformation initiatives.
