Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic Regional Delivery Lead for Europe, Middle East/Africa, and Brazil who is passionate about the Wise mission – money without borders. You’ll be part of the Wise Platform team, supporting the EMEA Delivery teams—Presales Consultants, Implementation Managers, and Solution Engineers—helping us grow and deliver high-quality payment services to our partners and their customers across the EMEA region.

As our Delivery Director for EMEA, you will set the standard for regional delivery operations, leading growth and ensuring the smooth delivery of payment solutions. You’ll lead and coach our regional team, working towards ambitious goals to achieve our regional growth objectives.

Your Mission:

1. Create a regional delivery strategy aligned with our business goals and support its execution and evolution.
2. Drive a culture of high performance focused on measurable outcomes; oversee regional delivery metrics, collaborating with global leads to ensure alignment.
3. Support the Delivery teams in managing pipelines, delivering high-quality solutions, and achieving quick results.
4. Nurture excellent relationships with our partners, support escalations, and ensure they have a positive experience with us.
5. Build strong relationships with key regional teams, fostering collaboration and alignment to manage risks effectively.
6. Manage all delivery risks for regional deals—including project, financial, compliance, and reputational risks—by proactively challenging teams and ensuring robust mitigation plans are in place.

Qualifications

1. Proven track record (10+ years) leading and scaling high-performing teams in delivery or operations, ideally within financial services or payments.
2. Ability to set strategy and help teams deliver against it, building consensus across multiple functions with competing priorities.
3. Deep understanding of cross-border payments, REST APIs, SWIFT, and local payment networks is a plus.
4. Innovative mindset—willing to challenge the status quo and solve problems, with the ability to communicate and execute plans effectively.
5. Excellent, adaptable communication skills; persuasive and confident in challenging ideas when necessary.
6. Analytical and detail-oriented, using data to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
7. Proactive approach—identifying and solving problems independently.
8. Mission-driven and customer-focused, seeking collaborative partnerships that benefit customers and align with Wise’s mission.
