Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an EMEA Data Governance Senior Associate within Asset & Wealth Management to identify, manage, and measure data risk across the region.

You will influence mitigation strategies, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive AI-enabled solutions while upholding an ethical, compliant governance framework. You will work with a broad set of controls, risk, compliance, and technology partners, supporting governance forums and program delivery to ensure regulatory alignment

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of control and risk management concepts and ability to evaluate controls
• Experience with data governance and exposure to European data regulations
• Experience implementing firmwide policies and standards
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
• Foundational AI/GenAI literacy and ability to identify AI opportunities
• Experience in strategic and tactical initiatives with deliverable ownership
• Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication, concise and timely to management

Responsibilities

• Document requirements, frameworks, and practices to support data risk management
• Coordinate regional inputs into governance forums and prepare materials
• Track remediation actions and support escalation workflows
• Partner with Controls, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal, and Technology stakeholders
• Support data protection governance activities and artifact tracking
• Identify process improvements and document workflows
• Maintain workstream plans, milestones, and dependencies
• Produce metrics, reporting, and remediation tracking
• Prepare agendas and drive follow-up actions in governance meetings
• Collaborate with broader CDO teams to reflect regulatory considerations across initiatives
• Oversee activities to support data risk management and lead governance forums
