Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Trading Desk Support Specialist within the EMEA Currencies and Emerging Markets team. You will perform daily P&L and risk analysis and provide timely insights to senior stakeholders.

You will collaborate across teams to design controls, improve processes, and ensure accuracy in P&L production. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success in this role based in London.

Qualifications

• Experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related area.
• Experience with P&L and month-end close processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related area.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships.
• Team player with the ability to work effectively across diverse functions and locations.

Responsibilities

• Review and report daily P&L and risk.
• Validate and understand daily P&L explains, including Volcker attributions and residual amounts.
• Identify, design, and implement new controls and processes for P&L/risk production.
• Provide daily/weekly/monthly P&L commentaries to senior management.
• Liaise with Financial Control to investigate and resolve MTD P&L breaks.
• Partner with the business to implement robust controls and new initiatives.
• Coordinate across front and back office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues.
