Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Counsel, Offboarding & Litigation for a remote-eligible, full-time position based in the United Kingdom. The role oversees complex employment offboarding, pre-litigation, and litigation across EMEA, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulatory requirements.

You will work with internal teams and external counsel to develop dispute resolution strategies, translate legal requirements into scalable processes, and support product improvements for regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with admission to a Bar in an applicable EMEA jurisdiction.
• 6–10 years of post-qualification experience in employment law and litigation in EMEA.
• Experience leading agency proceedings, tribunals, arbitrations, and hearings.
• Strong knowledge of termination procedures and due process across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Lead offboarding, pre-litigation, and litigation matters across EMEA.
• Draft termination notices, separation agreements, and legal submissions.
• Advise on risk exposure, damages, and settlement strategies.
• Manage external counsel, define scopes, negotiate fees, and review deliverables.
• Collaborate with HR, product, operations, and commercial teams to ensure compliance.
