Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an EMEA Lending Legal - Corporate Lending - Vice-President based in London. You will document, review and advise on general corporate lending matters, including large and mid-cap transactions, and gain exposure to bilateral and syndicated lending, investment grade, restructuring, and distressed debt.

You will work closely with business teams, risk, and Legal colleagues globally, providing guidance, training, and leadership on documentation standards and policy

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of lending experience at a leading law firm or in-house legal team at an investment bank.
• Must be a lawyer licensed to practice law and in good standing in the jurisdiction of the position.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively support EMEA lending business across transactions and offices with structuring and advice throughout the loan life cycle.
• Review and negotiate loan documents; provide risk-based guidance and summaries of documents.
• Set and maintain documentation standards and internal policies; train and share knowledge within Legal and across the firm.
