J.P. Morgan in London seeks an Investment Banking Associate to join the EMEA Consumer & Retail M&A team. You will participate in the full cycle of transactions, advising on high-profile deals in the Consumer & Retail sector across EMEA.

You will work with an expert global banking team, benefiting from formal training, mentoring and development opportunities, with a path toward senior responsibility in a leading M&A franchise.

Qualifications

• M&A experience required.
• Exposure to broad M&A transactions across regions.
• Strong corporate finance proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Participate in full M&A transaction cycle from pitches to client presentations.
• Develop content for strategic client meetings on M&A or capital markets.
• Prepare advanced financial analyses and build valuation & M&A models.
• Lead communications with clients, counterparties and advisors.
• Provide mentorship to Analysts and oversee day‑to‑day activities.
• Demonstrate M&A experience and strong corporate finance skills.
• Take ownership of transactions with exposure to clients and third parties.
• Be detail-oriented, proactive and able to manage competing demands.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
