We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced EMEA Consumer Lines Operations Manager. This position can be based in our Glasgow, London, or Madrid office. Reporting to the EMEA Consumer Lines Chief Operations Officer, the job holder is responsible for delivering operational excellence, focusing on policy administration, premium collection, and customer service, with the systems and controls that support these functions.
The role involves leading teams across multiple countries, ensuring high standards, compliance, operational performance, and excellent customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing regional and local teams in policy administration, billing, and customer service.
- Overseeing consumer lines billing operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Analyzing data and conducting audits to improve billing performance.
- Establishing quality standards and streamlining workflows.
- Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Managing billing quality metrics and reporting.
- Investigating service defects and customer complaints.
- Managing outsourced partners for operational and commercial performance.
- Serving as the senior contact with management for policy and billing performance.
- Contributing to strategic decisions on systems and operations.
- Proven leadership in policy administration and billing in fast-paced, tech-driven environments.
- Expertise in policy and billing processes, customer service, and regulations.
- Experience with modern billing systems.
- Understanding of quality control, ISO, and Six Sigma.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Leadership in customer service and stakeholder collaboration.
- Experience in multi-national environments.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Experience in budget management, cost analysis, and expense control.
