Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating compliance standards across EMEA, gathering operational and audit information, and maintaining records for the SMBC EMEA sites.

You will ensure that EMEA Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks are conducted and documented uniformly across all locations. Additionally, you will report compliance information from EMEA sites into the ISS UK Tririga/Insight system for SMBC monthly reporting.

Your ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and communicate effectively is essential for successful compliance coordination. If you are ready to contribute to our team, we invite you to join us as the Compliance Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate compliance standards across EMEA.
  2. Gather operational and audit information and maintain records for SMBC EMEA sites.
  3. Ensure EMEA PPMs are conducted and evidenced uniformly.
  4. Report compliance data into the ISS UK Tririga/Insight system for monthly reporting.
  5. Support H&S alignment and reporting to the UK CRES team.
  6. Develop relationships with local teams.
  7. Maintain the SharePoint filing system for audit and operational purposes.
  8. Follow up with local teams for information such as pricing and PPM evidence.
  9. Perform administrative tasks to uphold UK standards across EMEA.
  10. Gather information upon request.
  11. Communicate with clients and ensure audit readiness.
  12. Coordinate contractor compliance with SMBC standards and cost-efficiency.
  13. Assist with other administrative tasks.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Experience in compliance coordination and management.
  • Knowledge of statutory UK compliance, with familiarity of EMEA regulations.
  • Understanding of project and operational standards.
  • Proficiency in IT, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and preferably a CAFM system.
