Position Overview

Apollo is seeking a driven individual to join the firm’s Global Client Management Team to handle distributor onboarding and provide ongoing client service in Europe. The primary focus of this individual will be supporting the operational and reporting functions across various funds, including data management, fund reporting, subscription/redemption processes, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders such as distributors, service providers, and Apollo sales teams. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of the operations of an alternative asset management business.

Primary Responsibilities:

Coordination and oversight of 3rd party service providers (e.g. Caceis, Allfunds, iCapital, Clearstream) to ensure client obligations are met and that cross-party processes are functioning as expected and mutual SLAs are being executed upon

Regional operational support for Global Wealth clients, including pre-sale support, end-to-end onboarding and post-sale service

Serve as Europe client service support across Global Wealth clients to ensure coordinated and consistent white-glove client service

Focus on providing on the ground client support in Europe while also maintaining strong connectivity with global team and leveraging their expertise and institutional knowledge (e.g., information sharing, best practices)

Partner closely with, and be accountable to, Global Wealth Europe Sales team

Pre-Sale and Onboarding:

Support existing team members to coordinate the pre-onboarding process in close partnership with sales professionals for Global Wealth clients including ensuring requisite connectivity is in place with respective clients and their 3rd party service providers (e.g. Caceis, Allfunds, iCapital, S64, Clearstream)

Assist with project management of Global Wealth client onboarding process in coordination with Global Wealth Advisor Services, including but not limited to: distribution agreements, oversight of 3rd party service providers (e.g. Caceis, Allfunds, iCapital, S64, Clearstream) and coordination across numerous Apollo teams (e.g. compliance, legal, fund controllers) to execute onboarding

Service the operational and home office contacts at financial intermediaries and distribution partners from a pre and post sales perspective

Post-onboarding:

Manage subscription and redemption process and queries for perpetual funds as well as manage capital call notice follow ups for draw-down funds

Respond to ad-hoc requests for information across a variety of Apollo products

Ongoing:

Act as a point of contact for European wealth distributors enquiries on Apollo products lifecycle, maintain 3rd party service provider relationships (e.g. Caceis Allfunds, iCapital, S64, Clearstream) and Apollo internal and external stakeholders to formulate appropriate response on a timely basis.

Provide support to sales team members through the whole servicing lifecycle, from prospect to client.

Maintain and update internal and external static data (Apollo databases, FE Fundinfo, Allfunds etc)

Support on various projects as needed, including preparation and coordination of responses.

Assist with onboarding new products, detailing operational set up.

Assist with preparation of board reports, KPI generation and updating additional report items.

Assist with preparation of fund specific dealing calendars.

Oversee trailer fee process.

actively seek operational improvements and contribute to process enhancements to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

1-2 years of prior experience in an onboarding or client services role at an alternative asset management firm, investment/private bank, or 3rd Party Service Provider

Experience within the Global Wealth/Intermediated market is a must

Self-motivated and resourceful; able to multi-task and focus on delivering results
