Job summary

Archer is collaborating with HSBC to connect exceptional professionals for a London-based role in Agency Lending. You will optimise an agency lending trading book across fixed income and cash assets within HSBC’s risk and governance framework, balancing liquidity and risk-weighted returns for premier clients.

You’ll manage day-to-day trading decisions, work with clients and counterparties, and contribute to portfolio evaluations and market commentary, with a clear path to professional

Qualifications

Extensive experience in fixed income agency securities lending trading or related markets.
Ability to identify and execute revenue opportunities and implement trading strategies across inventory, collateral and liquidity.
Solid understanding of pricing methodologies and drivers of demand and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimise an agency lending trading book across fixed income and cash.
Deliver against business targets including revenue and balance targets using benchmarking tools.
Monitor performance vs plan and adjust strategies in response to market changes.
Identify opportunities to raise cash, deploy liquidity and manage term risk within client mandates.
Maintain input into portfolio evaluations and market commentary reflecting client profiles.
