About Our Client

The employer is a prominent player in the Technology & Telecoms sector, operating as part of a mid-sized organisation with a strong presence across the EMEA region.

Job Description
  • Produce local statutory accounts in collaboration with the in-country providers, and liaise with the external audit team in-country providers and internal departments for statistical reporting.
  • Liaison with auditors and in country providers for the preparation, audit, signing and submission of statutory accounts
  • Prepare and review financial statements for multiple entities across the EMEA region.
  • US GAAP to local GAAP bridge preparation on a quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinating the preparation of audit deliverables with other internal departments in line with audit timings.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline financial operations.
The Successful Applicant

A successful EMEA Accountant should have:

  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
  • Have relevant exposure to statutory reporting, preferably previous experience within a similar role,
  • Ideally a mix of practice and in house experience in statutory reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and accounting preparation software, such as Caseware, is desirable.
  • Experience with EMEA financial regulations and multi-currency transactions.
  • Experience in GAAP-to-GAAP reconciliation is preferable.
  • Experience with International Audit Standards is preferable
  • Able to demonstrate strong IFRS, FRS 102, USGAAP technical accounting, and analytical ability.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders
