Job summary

An established engineering business in the UK is seeking an EMC Project Engineer to write technical documentation and support product development. The ideal candidate will have a background in Electronics or a related field and an understanding of EMC design principles. Familiarity with military EMC standards is a plus. Candidates must be British Citizens or Dual UK Nationals. This position is crucial for ensuring EMC robustness in designs.

• Reviewing designs for EMC robustness
• Occasionally conducting informal testing or hands-on reviews

What You'll Need

• Background in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar
• Understanding of EMC design principles
• Able to manage deadlines and work within budget
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable

• Familiarity with military EMC standards (e.g. Def Stan 59-41, MIL-STD-461, DO160, etc.)
• Previous experience in defence, aerospace, or similarly regulated sectors
