Job summary

MTrec Ltd. seeks an Embroidery Operator for a prestigious firm in Durham (DH1). You will operate and maintain embroidery machines to apply logos, upload artwork, and monitor performance. Full training is provided, with potential for a permanent contract after 12 weeks.

Hours are 06:00–18:00 on a 4 days on / 4 days off Continental shift. The role offers a temporary on-going contract and weekly pay at £12.71 per hour with overtime options.

Qualifications

• Experience in production or embroidery environment preferred, training provided.
• Ability to understand technical drawings.
• Dexterous tasks require steady hands and precision.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good organisation and planning abilities.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• No prior experience needed; full training available.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain embroidery machines to apply logos to clothing.
• Use a range of machinery and hand tools daily.
• Thread reels and set up items on machinery.
• Upload programmes and artwork to machinery.
• Monitor performance and report faults or issues.
