About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for an Embroidery Machine Operative to join a growing team based in Shipley (BD18). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in sewing machine use who is looking to develop new skills in a supportive environment. Full training will be provided on embroidery machines.

Key Responsibilities of Embroidery Machine Operative:

  • Operate industrial embroidery machines to complete customer orders.
  • Follow order instructions accurately, including thread colours, placements, and garment types.
  • Use computer-based embroidery software (training provided).
  • Inspect garments for accuracy and quality before and after embroidery.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Assist with packing and general duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience using a sewing machine (domestic or industrial).
  • High attention to detail - quality and precision are essential.
  • Basic to medium computer skills - able to navigate simple software and input data.
  • Ability to read and understand order forms.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a small team.
