Job description

Role: Project Manager
Salary: up to £80,000
Location: Cambridgeshire

An exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to lead complex software and product delivery within a well-established technology company, operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Experience within product led delivery is a must for this one.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage full project lifecycle from concept to delivery.
  2. Oversee cross-functional teams including software, embedded, hardware and commercial functions.
  3. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  4. Facilitate Agile ceremonies and adapt methodologies as needed (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall).
  5. Drive requirement clarity and track delivery against scope and milestones.
  6. Report progress to senior stakeholders and address risks.
  7. Foster continuous improvement and best practices across teams.

About You:

  1. Experience managing complex software or embedded product projects.
  2. Strong understanding of Agile and traditional project methodologies.
  3. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  4. Proactive, solutions-focused, and confident managing multiple priorities.
  5. Proficient with Jira, Microsoft Office, and modern development practices.
  6. Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field.

Bonus Skills:

  1. Recognised project management certifications (ScrumMaster, PRINCE2, etc.).
  2. Background in embedded software, hardware, or Linux systems.
  3. Experience with new product introduction in tech environments (NPD / NPI).
