Overview

Embedded Software Team Lead - £50k - £60k - Semi remote - Porton Down

Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a rapidly expanding Electronics company based near Porton Down who are now seeking an Embedded Software Team Lead with good experience working on either ARM processors or Embedded Linux applications as well as leading projects. The role is onsite with remote working 1 to 2 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development of products, with a strong hands-on component, and ensure delivery from design to manufacture.
• Turn their hand to new products quickly and work autonomously on new initiatives.

Key Skills

• A degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems or similar
• 5+ years commercial Embedded Software experience
• Good knowledge of ARM based processors or Linux Kernel Driver development
• Commercial C++ is highly desirable
• Previous Team Lead or Project Management experience
• Any knowledge of DSP\'s is also advantageous but not essential

Location & Benefits

The company are offering circa £60k dependent on experience along with an excellent benefits package. The role requires onsite presence a few days a week with some flexibility around this.
