Job summary

KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in Bradford with hybrid working from home. You will lead the development of embedded software for production systems, focusing on real-time control and IoT connectivity.

The candidate should have 3+ years of experience in embedded C/C++, RTOS (FreeRTOS), and ARM Cortex processors, with strong debugging and collaboration across hardware teams in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years developing embedded software for production-ready systems.
• Expert C/C++ for embedded systems, RTOS (FreeRTOS ideally).
• ARM Cortex-M/A processors, ideally STM32.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of embedded systems and software for production-ready products.
• Shape technical direction across product lines and review code.
• Mentor other engineers in embedded practices within an agile environment.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to deliver from concept to field-ready systems.
