Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop and optimize software for battery-powered IoT devices. You will work on low-level firmware, BSPs and drivers, with a focus on power efficiency, real-time performance and system reliability.

The role involves building robust testing frameworks and contributing to hardware-in-the-loop validation. You will collaborate across hardware, software and testing teams, implement secure communication protocols (MQTT, BLE), and drive

Qualifications

Experience in embedded software development for microcontrollers.
Strong testing automation and test framework development.
Power optimization and real‑time performance expertise.

Responsibilities

Design, write, debug, and maintain low‑level software for embedded systems, including BSP and drivers.
Implement power optimization techniques for battery devices.
Customize RTOS/kernel components for embedded platforms.
Develop secure IoT protocols and integrate MQTT/BLE.
Create and maintain automated testing frameworks (unit/integration/regression).
Debug hardware/firmware issues and support prototype testing (HIL).
Integrate CI/CD pipelines for testing and validation.
Collaborate across hardware, software and documentation teams.
