The Chip HAL team is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to build the next generation of networking products. You will work on technologies powering the world’s largest cloud provider in a dynamic, open, and fast-paced environment, primarily focusing on pre-silicon development activities such as ETH link management, DDR drivers, PCIe drivers, bootrom, and boot flow.

This role involves leading tasks with peers from multiple disciplines and working on core network engine components at the world’s largest cloud provider.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of experience with embedded software development
  • Fluent in C
  • Electrical/Computer Engineering degree or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in embedded software development
  • Experience with hardware/software interfaces at both the board and chip levels
  • Understanding of computer architecture
  • Knowledge of network driver development and protocols
  • Knowledge of SoC development lifecycle
  • Experience working in Linux environments
