Embedded Software Engineer

Our client, a market leading manufacturer and supplier of specialist electronic equipment, seeks to appoint an Embedded Software Engineer with previous R&D experience.

Embedded Software Engineer - Role and Responsibilities

1. Coding on major new product development projects within a team of other engineers
2. Designing and developing embedded software and firmware for new and existing electronic systems
3. Generating embedded code in C
4. A/D conversion, algorithm development and digital signal processing
5. Generating the software architecture and communication protocols on a variety of microprocessors and microcontrollers
6. Testing of prototypes, generating supporting documentation, and project management

Minimum Requirements

1. Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Computer Science qualification (or equivalent)
2. A minimum of three years within Embedded Software Engineering
3. RTOS (real time operating systems) experience and knowledge of digital signal processing and analog to digital conversion are preferred
