Job summary

IC Resources is assisting a leading defence technology company in Stevenage to recruit an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team developing advanced seeker systems.

The role covers the full software lifecycle from requirements, architecture and design through to implementation, verification and testing, working closely with hardware and firmware engineers in lab environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing hard real-time embedded software.
• Strong C programming skills.
• Experience with embedded communication protocols (SPI, UART, Ethernet, PCIe).
• Experience with embedded software architecture and design.
• Familiarity with UML and software design methodologies.
• Strong understanding of system performance, integration and debugging.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• A proactive, collaborative approach within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Join a leading defence technology company - Embedded Software Engineer, Stevenage

A leading defence technology organisation is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team developing advanced seeker systems.

This is a hands-on role covering the full software lifecycle, from requirements, architecture and design through to implementation, verification and testing. You'll work closely with hardware and firmware engineers on complex real-time systems, with opportunities to work directly with specialist hardware and test equipment in the lab.

For this Embedded Software Engineer role, we are looking for someone with:

• Proven experience developing hard real-time embedded software
